Recently,the five 8th China Flower Expo Steel Bridges undertaken by Baosteel Engineering Steel Structure Department are open to traffic.This means that Baosteel has formed a complete industrial chain from drawing design,bridge production to installation.
The 8th China Flower Expo will be held in Changzhou City,Jiangsu Province in April 2013.Through public bidding,Baosteel Steel Structure Department gets exclusive contract of production and on-site installation and construction of five different types of steel bridges weighing a total of more than 4,300 tons.
It is known that,due to its focus on scenery viewing and crowd evacuation convenience,the concept of different styles,attractive appearance,high quality and accuracy requirements is adopted in five bridges'design.This also brings no small difficulty to the steel structure bridges'manufacturing,construction and installation.The shape of five bridges are external slanted arch bridge,board pulling continuous steel box beam,continuous steel plate beam,external slanted steel truss-combined beam arch form,steel-concrete composite beam structure.Different processes are used in production.For No.5 landscape bridge with two wave-shaped sections and steel truss structure,at first the parts are made separately and welded and then they are assembled into wholeness.Such a method minimizes the stress in the plate and ensures parts'molding quality and installation accuracy in the state of free expansion.
Through five 8th China Flower Expo landscape bridge production,construction and installation practice,Baosteel Steel Structure accumulates experience in undertaking large-scale and different types of bridges'construction and lays the foundation for winning more market orders in bridge field.
